Digital Car is operated by Slobodan Milojevic ("Digital Car", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Digital Car mobile and desktop applications and related online services.
Information we process
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, authentication and session information, and security settings such as multi-factor authentication status.
- Vehicle information: details you enter about vehicles, including make, model, year, registration, VIN, mileage, ownership and related notes.
- Vehicle history: service and maintenance records, inspections, registration and insurance dates, fuel and expense entries, reminders and other events you choose to record.
- Files you provide: photos, receipts and documents, including information extracted from them when you use document or OCR features.
- Technical and support information: app and device details, diagnostics, security logs and information you include when contacting support.
How we use information
We use information to provide, synchronize and back up your vehicle records; authenticate and protect your account; process documents you submit; create exports and user-requested share links; deliver reminders and support; prevent misuse; troubleshoot the service; and meet legal obligations.
Sharing and service providers
Digital Car uses service providers, including Supabase, for infrastructure such as authentication, databases, file storage and server functions. These providers process information only to deliver services to us and are subject to their own security and privacy commitments.
If you obtain Digital Car or purchase a subscription through an app store, the store provider processes its own account and payment information under its privacy policy. Digital Car does not receive your full payment-card details.
When you intentionally create a public vehicle-history share link, anyone who has that link may view the selected read-only information until the link expires or is revoked. Review the information before sharing and revoke links you no longer need.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Legal bases
Where applicable, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing Digital Car, comply with legal obligations, and act on your consent when consent is required.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information and user-created content while your account is active and as needed to provide Digital Car. When you delete your account, associated active account data is deleted, subject to limited retention where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute resolution. Deleted information may remain temporarily in protected backups until normal backup rotation is completed.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections and authentication protections. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage many records inside Digital Car or contact us using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Children
Digital Car is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Digital Car changes. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
